I hope you’re all doing well and have been enjoying the first few days of spring. At least I did! The weather here in The Netherlands was amazing the past week, and so my days have been all about going out, enjoying the sun and having some icecream.
Yesterday (the 10th of April) I went with Ina (her blog is fashionbyina.blogspot.nl ) to Amsterdam. Ina and I know eachother for about 2 years now and met up for the the first time in November 2016 in Amsterdam too. We have also been on a trip together to London where we were invited for an event from Aidijuma, which was in February 2017. After that Ina went back to Finland again and we have not seen eachother since then. But now she was back in the Netherlands and so ofcourse we had to meet up again!
We first went for to a couple of clothing stores to shop. After that we searched for a suitable place to take some pictures. We found choose this place with the typical Amsterdam Channels.
My hijab is from floral scarves (instagram: https://www.instagram.com/floralscarves/ )
My t-shirt, shoes and vest are from H&M
My jeans are from River Island and I ordered them from Asos.com
My bag is from DKNY
My watch is from Michael Kors
After we took our pictures we went to a cafe called De Drie Graefjes. I heard some friends about it before and they recommended the Red Velvet cake there so that’s what I got. The icing on the cake was really good, but the cake layers were a bit to thick in my opinion. I would rate it a 6.5/10.
After our little break we headed to the Kalverstraat, which is the main shopping street in Amsterdam. Ina bought a top and i blought a white belt bag. We took a look in some other shops and after that went for dinner at Vapiano. They have this really pretty location next to the water with big windows where you have a great outlook on the city. I had a Pesto fussili, which is my favourite kind of pasta over there.
